| Begin with
the base course, laying the standard pieces as shown
to create a 90° corner. |
 |
| Chisel off
both top tongues from the cover module leaving approx.
80mm (3") of tongues at one end. This process
helps to accommodate the 2nd course. |
 |
| Since
the ends of modules are smooth, you must create
a rockfaced corner piece for each subsequent course.
Split approx. 25mm (1") off an end using either:
hammer and bolster chisel (bottom left), or pavestone
splitter (bottom right). |
 |
| If
using the hammer & chisel, begin scoring around
the entire end and then increase hammer force until
the end splits off. |
|
| Install
the rock-faced piece from step 3 such that the split
end faces out. |
 |
| Stack
corners by alternating them at each course such
that the joints are offset. This is illustration
to right. By alternating each of these configurations,
you will produce a 'finger-jointed' corner - the
strongest that can be made. |
|
| Just
repeat steps 2 through 5 as you stack up your wall
course by course. The result will be strong, interlocking
corners that stand up to time & gravity. |
